Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) Quick review. This is not a movie based on comics; this is comics turned into a movie! And I loved it! I appreciated how the animation style changed based on how the Spider-Person (?) is originally drawn in the comics. While I was occasionally distracted by the Easter eggs and I find the motivation of the main antagonist fell short, Miles’s growth from an ordinary boy to Spider-Man and the concept of the multiverse are the reason why I am rating this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 out of 5. PS, as with any Marvel-based film do watch the extra scene at the end.

Aquaman (2018): Quick review. The Underwater scenes are enough to watch this on a big screen. This movie reverses the trope that Aquaman is weak; he is a total badass on this. The family dynamic and mythological aspects of the film made it worthwhile for me. Quick rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5.
